Marinated duck with Thai special sauce and honey serve with ginger and bok choy.

It is not often that I get a chance to see Thai desserts being made in person. So, I was particularly thrilled at the weekend to see some demonstrations of how to make a few of my favourite Thai sweets. The one I want to show you today is called Golden Threads, or foi thong in Thai.

From owner ( we own desserts )

My name is Yanyong Saramano ( nick name Nong ). I am a Thai chef. I have experience about Thai food more than 20 years. My wife (Phitsamai Saramano) love to make desserts. She's a professional Thai dessert from Thailand. Me and my wife have some ideas to make authentic Thai foods and desserts for customers to try. Most of our food and desserts are prepared by steaming which offer a healthy benefits. We use all natural materials such as fruit, vegetables and banana leaves for our desserts. Our small restaurant have something unique to offer and the type of desserts that we offer are hard to find in the state.

Please come to visit us at 1060 Boston post road guilford CT, " Thai sweet treats ". It is located right across from CVS and next to Bufalina pizza. Our family lives in Guilford and we want to contribute to Guilford community our unique offerings of Thai desserts. We love the vibrant community of Guilford.
